MALVASIA POP UP, a unique space dedicated to the tasting and sensory storytelling of an extraordinary grape variety with a centuries-old history.

Join us until November 15th, Thursday through Sunday, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, for an experiential journey through wine, history, and the enchanting light of the lagoon. You'll have the opportunity to taste a selection of 19 Italian Malvasia varieties, including some incredibly rare ones..
 
It is a little-known fact that Venice itself gave rise to the term Malvasia, referring not only to the wine but also to the historic taverns where it was served. This ancient connection is revived through our project, which aims to highlight an often-forgotten winemaking heritage..

MALVASIA POP UP was born from the desire to tell and create connections, it will be a journey through Italy, each wine is in fact a territory, a story, an encounter.

Our goal is for the Pop Up to become a true hub for wine lovers and anyone looking to immerse themselves in an authentic and relaxed atmosphere. It's designed to be a place to meet, chat, and share ideas, fostering genuine connections where time can slow down..

We will be tasting some of the most fascinating and representative Malvasias of Italian identity, including, Malvasia Istriana from the Marano Lagoon, Malvasia Moscata from the Piedmont hills, Malvasia Odorosissima, a very rare variety from the Parma hills, Malvasia Bianca Lunga from the Chianti hills, Malvasia di Candia from the Marche hills, Malvasia Puntinata from Lazio, Malvasia Nera from Salento, Malvasia Bianca from the Vulture hills in Basilicata, Malvasia di Lipari from the island of Vulcano.

** FRAGRANCE OF MALVASIA

An experience exploring the legendary Malvasia wine.

A tale of distant travels, cultural exchanges, synergies, and Venetian skill in transforming oriental dreams into absolute desires.

I will accompany you on this journey through the history of wine in Venice, exploring the history and tasting of rare wines from different Italian regions.

The tasting includes:

3 Malvasia wines (a sparkling wine, a white, a red)

Pairings with Venetian cicchetti and finger food

Duration: approximately 90 minutes

€40 per person

** SCENTS OF BLOSSOM

A fragrant aperitif through the story of the fascinating Moscato Giallo of the Euganean Hills. An ancient grape, rich in history and seduction, the Euganean Hills have found an ideal environment to bring out all their qualities, unique in their intensity and aromatic complexity. Together, we will discover the elegance, finesse, and intense aroma of this grape, which gives us wines of great personality.

What the tasting includes:

1 glass of bottle-fermented Moscato

1 glass of dry still Moscato

With a selection of fresh and semi-mature cheeses

Duration: approximately 60 minutes

** COLFONDO PERFUMES

A refreshing summer aperitif through the story of the world's most famous sparkling wine: Prosecco. We'll present the traditional version, the sparkling wine aged on the lees, a wine rich in simplicity and easy to drink, yet equally fragrant, refined, and persistent. Ideal as a summer aperitif with appetizing finger foods.

2 glasses of bottle-fermented Glera

With Venetian cicchetti and sandwiches
